Kanha Tiger Reserve
is also known as the land of the tiger and
is associated Kipling country though not
Mowgli’s home land which lies in Seoni Hills.
Once contiguous with Pench in Seoni Hills,
Bandhavgarh in Vindhya Hills,
Kanha in Maikal hills is
now isolated. Thanks to conservation efforts and sound management
Kanha exhibits pristine glory and exotic
backdrop as it was since millions of years of evolution.
The tigers breed successfully here with a
prey base that abound in kind and numbers. More than twenty
species of Central Indian mammals make this
wildlife refuge their home.
